Eliopoli for it’s actual members (all Europeans) represent an adventure under many points of view, implying not only a lifestyle change, but also a cultural challenge and an overseas migration.

Who are the people that are undertaking this venture?

The Core group is represented by two families: 4 adults and 2 children.
But we have many more potential members as well contributors that help us.

Corvo (Raven)

GIUSEPPE aka CORVO

Giuseppe aka Corvo (Raven),
41 years old
Programmer, Philosopher and Writer.

He is the founder and engine of the Eliopoli project.

Giuseppe was Born in Catania,  a lively City on the Sicily’s east cost (Italy), in the middle of mediterranean sea.
Son of intellectuals (his mother is an artist and his father a psychoanalist) he deepened his knowledge in psychology as well in eastern and western meditative practices (Advaita Vedanta Yoga, Hermetic Cabalah). In 1991 he grounded the first Roleplay Gaming Association in Catania: “La Locanda del Viandante” (The Wayfarer’s Inn).

After he studied Political and Social Sciences at Catania University, Giuseppe moved to Germany to join his beloved wife Silke. There he started his Information Technology’s career. Presently he is working for IBM as consultant for Service Oriented Architecture.

In 1997 Giuseppe founded the Ordo Solis a live action role-play (LARP) group with a mystical core. Together with Silke he has two children: Noemi and Raphael.

Through his personal formation in human sciences, his studies in the social field and his professional experience in the IT field, Giuseppe sees himself as a bridge between human and social challenges and technical solutions.
Giuseppe is the leader of  “DOOR Business Consulting” the Information technology consultancy company.

SILKE aka MARGHERITA

Silke aka Margherita (Daisy), 48 years old, Mother and energetic Terapist. Silke was born in the Germany’s heartland, in the farm that his family owned for more than 5 generations. Growing up in a farmers environment Silke got direct experience of traditional farming and breeding tecniques as well as a deep love for animals and particularly horses.Aside her interest for nature she studied as phisiotherapist and deepend his knowledge in traditional chinese medicine and acupuncture-massage, a modern “eastern-derived” healing practice.In one of her travel in south Europe Silke met Giuseppe in Sicily.

A fruitful bound was established and since 1997 Silke is an happy mother. Nowdays she has two wonderful children: Noemi (14 years old) and Raphael (9 years old) She represent the green heart of the business ALMA MATER.

Noemi aka Luna (Moon) is a delightful  girl  14 years old. Noemi likes to read and has already read many dozens of books.
She is pretty mature. Indeed she is growing pretty fast and soon she will be the more important attraction of the Eliopoli project !…

The most beloved activity of Noemi is to create stories and she dreams to became a writer.
